Planing strips failed surface course, corrects profile irregularities and removes wheel ruts before resurfacing. Our operators set drum depth and overlap to match your pavement report: full-depth removal where structural failure exists, or shave-and-regulate passes where only the wearing course is life-expired.
Arisings are loaded for recycling off-site; swept surfaces are inspected before binder regulation or tack coat application. On confined sites we sequence cuts to maintain emergency access and coordinate with traffic management for lane drops and convoy working.
